Apologies right off the bat for the radio silence this past week+. My day job has been a little busier than usual and I haven’t had a free moment to post anything til now.
We’ve held two open houses in the past three weeks. Both saw us open up the pub to a whole new group of members to the ESB “Pub Club” and it was great to meet neighbors and make new friends.
We were closed this past weekend because it was Quincy’s baptism and, as a result, we were able to open up the ESB to a family-only event on Sunday. It included the first-time visit to the ESB of my wife’s grandfather, J.J., who was a big fan of the beer. We enjoyed tastings of our Elizabeth Street Bitter, Daddy’s Chocolate Milk and Auntie Ben’s IPA. Good stuff.
Even though our next open house isn’t until Saturday, March 21 (10am – 4pm), we have a number of closed door events happening. A surprise birthday celebration later this week and another one set for St. Patrick’s Day. I will be moving the vanilla stout to the secondary fermenter this coming weekend and bottling/kegging “Bill’s Beer”. Which should be ready for your enjoyment the weekend of March 27th. More on that later.
So for now, please mark your calendars for Saturday, March 21 for our next open house.
