Welcome to our Brewery: Introducing ESB 2.0

And here we go. Welcome to the new and improved Elizabeth Street Brewery website. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank the Voce and CNP Studio crew for working after hours with me to get this website up and running. I can’t thank Nick and the team enough… but I’m sure I can try to make up for it in beer.

For those of you who know about us already, thanks for your patience as we try and take the ESB to the next level. For those of you finding us for the first time, welcome. We can’t wait to serve you a beer or three in the very near future.

In addition to parenting two daughters, Allie and I both have day jobs that we’re committed to so there may be days that go by at a time without an update here. I apologize for that in advance. It doesn’t mean we’re any less committed to the pub. Quite the contrary, everything we’re doing and have been doing for the past few years is setting the foundation that will allow us one day to hopefully realize our dream of taking the Elizabeth Street Brewery out of our basement, into the marketplace and onto your table. Patience.

I am constantly reading up on the restaurant and brewing industry, asking as many questions as I can from those already much further down the path we’re about to embark on, and writing our business plan all with the eventual goal of opening up the Elizabeth Street Brewery to the public. This website, blog and our Twitter feed are all ways in which we hope to share that journey with family and friends. As with anything I’ve done in my life, the journey always seems to be as enlightening (if not more so) than the destination. So let’s get started shall we?

Cheers,
Richard.
